Remarks:
In 1846 William Hall became a Doctor and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS).
In 1861 he was unmarried and living at 8 Crescent Parade, Salford and was a GP and MRCS. He had two servants:- Mary Gillespie (22) a housemaid and Sarah Gillespie (20) a cook.
By 1871 he had married Louisa Platt and they lived at No 8, Crescent Parade in Salford with their young family (Henry Platt Hall (born 1863), Joseph Platt Hall (born 1864) and Alfred Greaves Hall (born 1867). Hannah was born in 1875.
In 1881 they had moved to No 17, The Crescent, Salford.

15 July. The Will with a Codicit of William Hall late of Gorse Bank, Werneth, Oldham in the County of Lancaster, Surgeon who died 18 March 1887 at Gorse Bank was proved at Manchester by Louisa Hall of Gorse Bank, Widow of the Relict, and Samuel Radcliffe Platt of Werneth Park within Oldham in the said county and Henry Platt Hall of Gorse Bank the son, Machinists, three of the executors.
