She was William the Conqueror's sister, probably of the whole blood, although she may have been the daughter of another mistress of Robert. She married three times--first to Enguerrand, Count of Ponthieu; second, to Lambert, Count of Lens; third, to Eudes, or Odo, count of Champagne.
