Occcupation in May 1886: Engine Fitter on his son's (George Henry's) birth certificate.
Occupation in April 1886: House painter on his death certificate.
Note he died aged 26 in 1886 - 1 month before George's birth.
Cause of Death: Heart Disease.
His mother Wilmett Neal was the informant of the death.
On his son's marriage certicates, his occupation was described as Naval Officer on his son's (George Henry's) marriage certificate and a 'Captain in the Royal Navy' on his son's William Henry's marriage certificate.
However 3 years after dieing in 1886, information from Katy O'Brien via ancestry.co.uk states:
John Summers Neal and Sarah Emily Neal (nee Sulis) arrived in Maryborough Queensland on board the "Scottish Lassie" on 10 Nov 1889, with Sarah Emily Neal giving birth to a son John Henry Neal on board the ship on 25 Aug 1889 (17 Jul 1889 - ship's departure from Plymouth?).
