Remarks:
Pilot in the Fleet Air Arm in WWII.
Flew 750 hours at night.
Flew initially Swordfish and then Barricuda and then Firefly.
Lieutenant Commander (2 1/2 ringer).
Served in the Ark Royal.
Seconded to RAF in Yorkshire and helped shoot down flying bombs at night when they could see the exhaust.
Worked for Courtaulds after the war.
