She was a VAD during WW1 where worked at Sedgley Hall Red Cross Hospital in Prestwich where she met Henry Cecil Franks who she was to marry.
After her husband died, she moved to London and lived in her later life at Flat 9, St. Georges House, 72-74 St. Georges Square, Westminster, London S.W.1.
