Reverend Edward Denny was born on 17 August 1835.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Denny and Sophia Catherine MacGillycuddy.2 He married Marion Georgina Lyster, daughter of Lyttelton H. Lyster, on 18 October 1877.1 He died on 13 February 1909 at age 73.1
Reverend Edward Denny graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Rector between 1878 and 1881 at Ballyheigue, County Kerry, Ireland.1 He was the Rector between 1881 and 1897 at Laracor, Trim, County Meath, Ireland.1
