Remarks:

George Henry Goldie was commissioned into the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment and was made Second Lieutenant in 1906. In January 1910 he was promoted to Lieutenant.

On 12 August 1914, he landed in France with the 1st Battalion and was killed during the ‘Retreat from Mons’ near Vendresse and Troyons on the 14th Sep 1914.
