Lord of Allerdale, Carlisle, and Cumbria. He was regent of Strathclyde, 1034, and king of Cumberland. He was slain in battle. He is also known as Maldred FitzCrinan. He was almost certainly a son of Crinan, but there is no direct evidence that Bethoc was his mother.
