Remarks:
King Siegbert "the Lame" was murdered by his own son, Cloderic, who thus earned the nickname "the Parricide". One questionable version is that the murder was instigated by Cloderic's uncle, King of Salic Franks, Clovis I (487-511) who had Cloderic murdered in turn. Siegbert and Cloderic were both kings of the Riparian Franks, Clovis was originally of the Salic Franks, later becoming King of all Franks.
