In 1891 Edwin Bridge aged 36 with his wife Emily (31) and two children Cyril (6) and Emily (1) was living at No 3, Bent Lane, Prestwich.
Edwin's sister Mary (34) was also living with them and described herself as a midwife.
They had one servant, Alice Millward aged 23.
Edwin described himself as a cotton merchant.
