Remarks: | Will of Walter Corbet, younger son of Roger Corbet and Ann Windsor The testator leaves bequests to three of the children (Thomas, Jane and Susan) of his brother, Robert Corbet (buried 30 January 1593) of Stanwardine, who married Jane Kynaston (buried 23 December 1588), the daughter and co-heir of Thomas Kynaston of Walford, Shropshire. Susan Corbet married William Yonge of Kenton, who is likely related to Giles Yonge, who was a co-purchaser, with Oxford’s wife, Elizabeth Trentham (d.1612), of King’s Place in Hackney in 1597 (see TNA C 66/1476).
