He is a Member of The Caledonian Club in Belgravia where he is a past Captain of the Golf Society, and where he wrote an article for summer 2015 edition of The Caledonian Magazine on his great uncle Major Edward McCosh who died in the First Wordl War.
Colin is also a member of the Moreton Morrell Real Tennis Club in Warwickshire. Colin is a member of The Incorporation of Hammermen in Glasgow. (3 generations of McCosh's helped run the Wm Baird and Sons steelworks in Coatbridge in Lanarkshire. His Great Uncle A.K. McCosh was a Pre War President of the Iron and Steel Confederation and a Deputy in The Ministry of Supply during the War.)
