She was orphaned in 1912 at 14 and helped raise her brothers Mikael aged 2 and Jakob near Vladimir, and then hunger started and they had to be separated but she never lost touch with him.
She used to visit him very often and even went to see him in Vladivostock when he was in the army there before the War.
After the War, Mikael went to find her and brought her to Alma-Ata with her child and found her a place to live and a job and helped her financially.
